The New ELE Rotasift Laboratory Sifter is designed to accept up to ten 200mm (8") diameter by 50.8mm (2") high or six 300mm (12") by 76.2mm (3") high, standard test sieves and cover.
The Rotasift replicates the sifting action of a manual technician more precisely, by combining both rotational sifting with a tapping action applied to each sieve, resting inside the Rotasift chamber. This both ensures that materials are properly and accurately separated during operation, allowing the materials to move quickly through the sieve meshes, and considerably reduces sample testing times.
Further Description
The Rotasift incorporates an internal switch in the door for operator safety, this feature switches off the Rotasift when the door is opened.
The Rotasift is ideal for use in a broad range of analysis, quality and process control applications, from sifting soils, sands and aggregates in civil engineering applications to flours or any granular materials in food processing or other industries.
