Benefits of the Mini-Line Multi Sonic Averaging System
Smoother mat Even if you are not working with a 12 meter wide paver on a 5 track highway using the Mini-Line Multi Sensor Averaging System gives much more accurate measurements, resulting in a more even and thus much more comfortable surface. This means that reaching today’s smoothness specs becomes remarkably easy.
Flexible beams The Mini-Line Multi Sonic Averaging System is the only averaging system with flexible mounting beams. With flexible beams you have easy access to the paver. E.g. in case of material build-up. You just flip out the beam and access the auger area.
The beams are telescopic and can be extended from 2,20 meters to 3,40 meters. The flexibility also means that you can take the average over a longer or shorter expanse. The beams can be placed with longer or shorter distance between them and be angled to fit an operating length of more than 10 meters. This means that they can fit the length of any paver.
The versatility of the beams also means that you can adjust the operation distance from the paver.
Easy to move The construction is so light that one man easy can move an install it. Using 2 separate beams (instead of one big) together with the uncomplicated fitting makes it very easy to move the Mini-Line Averaging System from one paver to the next. The construction is so light that it even fits in to the boot of a small car or van
Non-Contact The sonic sensors have no moving parts and do not contact the road surface. This way there are no problems with tar build-up or obstacles on the surface. Using non-contact sensors also gives you a bigger working area. The sensors can be mounted up to 1 meter from the surface.
Intelligent sensor backup The Sonic Averaging System maintains full functionality in case of 1 to 3 defect sensors. If one or more sonics fails the remaining sensors stay working thus functioning as a backup. This means that the paver operation will not be affected.
User friendly Simple handset operation, easy to read LED-display When the Averaging System is not in use it can be stowed on the side of the paver for transportation ect.
Versatile- The handset can monitor slope percent if S-298 Digital Slope unit is mounted on the paver.
- The sonic sensors can be used as a single grade unit with the same handset.
- The system can be operated with one beam if required.
- The beam can be modified to operate 1 sensor on the completed mat to improve levels.
- You can use 1 – 4 Sonics at a time depending on your job
